Winnie and Walter One Layer Card

One layered card with In Bloom: Anna's Flora Winnie and Walter stamps
Hello everyone! Hope you are having a great week. I am busy packing, we're going on a 2 week vacation to the United States of America. It'll be my first trip to USA and I'm very excited, not only because I'll be visiting a new country but also because of the craft shopping I'll get to do!
I made this one layer card for Winnie and Walter's Second Birthday Bash. I've used In Bloom: Anna's Flora stampset from Winne and Walter.
I'm not very happy with the way the card turned out, I now feel I should have stamped with black ink.

Winnie and Walter "Hi"

Watercolor background made with W R Memory Keepers next generation embossing folder. Diecut Hi from Winnie and Walter
Hello everyone!I made this card for Winnie and Walter's Second Birthday Bash. I created the background by watercoloring a piece of Daler Rowney 300gsm cold pressed water color paper and embossing is with a We R Memory Keepers Next Level Embossing Folder. I just love the amazing dimension the embossing adds to the background.

Stamping with the backside of stamps

One layered card with Stamping with the backside of stamps. Stamps from Winnie and Walter
Hello everyone, happy Monday! I've used a fun technique in today's card. I've made this card by flipping and stamping with the backside of the stamps. I learnt this technique from Mayuri's Radiant Stamping Techniques Card Class . I've used the Scenery: The Party Hangover set from Winnie and Walter. I first stamped in color with the stamp placed the wrong side up on the acrylic block and then stamped over it with the stamp the right side up in black.

Thanks so much!

Hello everyone! Hope you are having a great weekend! I'm having a good one, watching a Bollywood movie while I write this blogpost on a Saturday night. My 4 year old is peacefully asleep, she fell asleep on the living room couch very early today giving us grown ups the freedom to watch what we want on TV! The only problem is she'll be up really early tomorrow and make sure that we get up to too :(

Moving on to my card... I've used the Scenery: The Party Hangover set from Winnie and Walter to create the background. The stampset is awesome, it has so many possibilities! I stamped in rainbow colors to create my happy background. I made this card for w&w Belated 2nd Birthday Bash | Rainbow Challenge with Vanessa. The inspiration cards by Vanessa are just gorgeous!

Emboss Resist Watercolor Background

Happy Friday everyone! I'm sharing a card that I made with Winnie and Walter Stamps. Green and Blue seem to be my favorite color combo these days.
Emboss Resist watercolor background using Winnie and Walter Stamps
I've used Scenery: The Party Hangover set for creating the background. I first stamped and heat embossed the party banners in white on watercolor paper. Then I added some Windsor and Newton Tube watercolors with a round brush. Once the first coat of watercolor dried up, I added some more color and let it dry, following which I added some watercolor splatters. Finally, I went over the heat embossed part with a wet cloth to remove any pigment that had clung to it.
The sentiment is from the "The Big, The Bold and You" set from Winnie and Walter, I stamped and heat embossed it in black on vellum and cut it out.

I also recorded a video on how I made this card

Stamped Valentine's Day Card with Jane's Doodles Love stampset
Hello everyone! Valentine's Day is just round the corner, I haven't made many cards for the occasion this year. This is one of the few I made, the stamps are from Jane's Doodles. I wanted to stamp in shades of grey and pink buy I don't have any dye inks in those shades so I stamped with distress inks instead......I love how it turned out :)

Hello everyone! This is my first post for the Happy Little Stampers Mixed Media Challenge. The theme for this month is paint.
Happy Little Stampers February 2016 Mixed Media Challenge
The challenge is sponsored by
The winner will receive a $15 gift certificate from the store.
Mixed Media Card with Happy Little Stampers Butterfly Birthday Stamps
For my card I first created a quick background by applying some thinned down peeled paint distress paint with a flat brush. Once it dried I stamped the butterfly and the sentiment on top of it, both the stamps are from the HLS Butterfly Birthday stamp set. I colored in the butterfly with Art Anthology Sorbet Dimensional paint with a paint brush and dabbed it with a piece of tissue to create some fun texture. I finished the card with some black soot distress paint splatters and a few sequins.

Handmade Chinese New Year Card #1

Hello everyone! This is our first Chinese new year in Singapore, it's fun to learn learn about new cultures, I enjoyed making Chinese New Year cards for my local Singaporean friends and my daughter's teachers. Sharing one card of those cards today.
Pink monochromatic stamped handmade card for chinese new year using altenew crisp inks and inkadinkado stamps

I would have loved to splurge on a new stamp set for the occasion but sadly none of the stores were stocking anything I wanted. It turned out to be a blessing in disguise, I was forced to dig up my stamp stash to find an old Inkadinkado stamp set called "Asian by Design".
For my card I stamped the blossoms is various shades of pink Altenew crisp inks. I overlapped the blooms to create the illusion of depth.

I Love Us

Red and white romantic watercolored card with Jane's Doodles stamps

Hello everyone, happy Monday! I hope you had a great weekend. I had a good one, I got a chance to visit a beautiful place called the "Enabling Village" with some awesome crafters. Enabling Village is an establishment that aims to enable and empower children with special needs and help to build an inclusive society. It was a truly amazing and humbling experience! You can find out more about the initiative at their website. Singapore has so much to offer!
Now onto my card, this is my second card for the Online Card Class Water Color for Card Makers
It is based on the first lesson taught by Dawn in the class. Though I did try out a few other techniques taught in class, I haven't made any more cards, and I haven't got a chance to watch all the session too :(
Red and white romantic watercolored card with Jane's Doodles stamps
For this card I traced out the hearts from a heart die-cut, the die is from an old sizzix heart die. I then water colored the hearts. The sentiment is from Jane's Doodles "Love" set.
Thanks for visiting!
