Thank you for your hospitality!

A bright and happy handmade card using Jane's Doodles Home Sweet Home stamp set.

Happy Sunday everyone! Did I tell you I love Jane's Doodles stamps? Well, I guess you must have guess by now, I make so many cards with them!
Here's a couple of cards I made with the Home Sweet Home Set.
I've inked some DCWV patterned paper to make the background for this card. The house and clouds are colored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers.

The second one is a really quick card, I've stamped and heat embossed with white on black cardstock. I stamped the house on white cardstock, colored and fussy cut.

Which card do you like better? The first one's my favorite!

So good to see you!

One layered, stamped card using Neat and Tangled So Good to see you set. Features mirror stamping, where a mirror image of the flower stamp is stamped on the other side to create the half wreath. Image colored with distress markers
Hello everyone! We got back from our vacation to the United States on Monday night and it is indeed good to see you! I got a whole suitcase full of craft goodies, including stamps from companies I had been waiting to try out from a long time. I made this single layer card with my very first Neat and Tangled Stampset.

I was inspired by the wreath in this card by Betsy Veldman in this month's Stamplorations CASEplorations challenge.
The stampset has only one the flower stock, I stamped the mirror image by stamping the image on a piece of glossy paper and pressing it onto the cardstock to create a half wreath, it's not perfect but it works.

HLS March Mixed Media Challenge - Water

Hello everyone! Welcome to another edition of the Happy Little Stampers Mixed Media Challenge, the theme for March is Water.
Use water on your mixed media projects, you can interpret it anyway you like, use Faber Castell Gelatos with water or use distress stains with water, or any other medium with water! You can make anything you like - this challenge is definitely not limited to cards!
The challenge is sponsored by Happy Little Stampers
The winner will get one stamp set from HLS. You don't have to use HLS stamps to enter.

For my card I used Faber Castell Gelatos with water on smooth, glossy card stock. I first scribbled onto the glossy cardstock with 3 shades of gelatos and then added some water and blended the colors a bit with my fingers. Then I added big drops of water onto the colored area with a big round brush. Since the cardstock is glossy it does not absorb the water and we get gorgeous colored puddles. I moved the water around on the background and then dried it with a heat gun. I finally stamped the sentiment from the EveryDay Sentiments stampset from Happy Little Stampers and heat embossed it. I also added some chevron patterns from the Mix Mash set also from Happy Little Stampers and finally finished the card with some glitter enamel dots.
