Happy Birthday!
Hello everyone! I played with a new stamp set by Concord and 9th to make 2 cards.
I tried the emboss resist technique with distress inks on water color paper, even though it's a really old technique I don't think it can ever go out fashion!
The background turned out to be too overpowering so I die-cut it and used it on 2 cards. The cake is colored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush pens and fussy cut.

April showers bring May flowers......
...well not really in Singapore, where we have similar weather all year round!! Anyway on the up side, flowers are in bloom all the year round and some of those are the most beautiful orchids I've set my eyes on.
This card is inspired by Color Throwdown #388
I wanted to make a one layered card, I stamped the boots and masked them with Windsor and Newton masking fluid to create the watercolored background. I did a really bad job of coloring the boots so I had to stamp and fussy cut another set...I do love the layered look.
All stamps are from Jane's Doodles, I absolutely love all her stamps, they make me so happy :)

You are fabulous
The peonies are from the Peonies on Parade set by PTI. I am not too pleased with the watercoloring, I used low quality watercolor paper, but that's no excuse for my bad job :)
The sentiment is from the Honeybee Stamps set called Beautiful Life, I love this set, it has lots of beautiful sentiments.

HLS April Mixed Media Challenge
Hello everyone! I am back with this month's Happy Little Stampers Mixed Media Challenge. April's theme is Wings
It's Happy Little Stamper's Birthday Month Celebration and the prize for this month is $30 gift certificate to the winner$10 gift certificate to each of our Favourites
Here's my card. I made the background with stencils and inking with a lot of distress inks. The larger butterfly is stenciled (The Crafter's Workshop Layered Butterflies), I added some dimension to the wings with Faber Castell Gold Texture Luxe. Stamped another butterfly and the sentiment, both from the Butterfly Birthday Happy Little Stampers set and outlined the large butterfly and card edges with a black gelato.

Freehand Chevron
Hello everyone! I made a couple to freehand watercolor chevron backgrounds while I was taking the Watercolor for Cardmakers online card class. While I used the first one to make a card at that time, I didn't use the second till now. You can check out the first card here.
I've used the Tim Holtz Stamptember 2015 release stamps for the focal image.

Hello everyone! I hope you're having a great Sunday! I spent an awesome Sunday morning crafting and now we're off to attend a birthday party......oh the joys of being a toddler's mum ;)
This is the card I made this morning. I created the watercolor background with Gansai Tambi and Windsor and Newton watercolors. I splattered some paint once the colors dried and then daubed them with a tissue. The flowers are from PTI and the sentiment is from Stamplorations.
