My card is literal take on the sketch. I just love, love, love the cute bears from the "Beary Special Birthday" set. I had a blast coloring them with my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. I added some shimmer with a Spectrum Noir Sparkle pen and some glossy accents to the icing.
Happy Friday everyone! My husband got back from a short trip to the US this week and needless to say I got a ton of craft goodies :). Here's a peek of what I got....
I haven't been able to play with my goodies yet but I did manage to find time to make a card.
The Wooden Block prints set from PTI has been on my wishlist ever since it was released. The patterns are straight out of carved wooden blocks used by local artisans in India to create gorgeous hand block printed fabrics. The stamps remind me of beautiful sarees worn by my mom, so for my card I made a border similar to the ones found on hand block printed sarees. I chose the colors to be similar to vegetable die colors used the sarees. The stamping isn't perfect which creates an effect of block printing on fabric. I also added a gold shimmer border to add a touch of glamour!
Hello everyone! Today I'm sharing a card I made for my DT commitments at Peek-a-boo designs. I stretched the Lotus Delight set by stamping the lotuses as succulents.
Hello everyone! I'm back after being missing in action for more than a month :)
I made this quick card with Jane's Doodle Under the Sea set. The background is made with Salty Ocean and Peacock Feathers distress inks, don't they make the perfect ocean colors?
I colored the fish with watercolor pencils and fussy cut them.
