I just love the colors on this one! Watercolors are the medium of choice for me these days, I can't seem to get enough of them, the background is watercolored and so are the fall leaves and the fox and the owl.
This card took forever to make, somehow I loved how the elements looked individually but I could not put them together! After a lot of fussing, I finally settled on this look.

Reverse Confetti: Nuts about You

Hello everyone, today I am sharing another card I made with Reverse's Confetti's September release.
I can't get enough of these cute critters from the 'Nuts About You' set. I stamped the images randomly on watercolor paper and colored them with Gansai Tambi watercolors.
I then added trimmed some strips from the wonky striped panel and added that as a frame on the watercolored panel and added the sentiment to finish the card.

The new release is available here.

Reverse Confetti September SFYTT

It's mid-September and time for some inspiration for the September Sketch For You to Try. Here's this month's sketch.
It's almost fall, so I decided to make a fall themed card.

The background is from this month's newly released "Every little bit" patterned paper pad and the stamps and dies are also from this month's release.
Don't forget to hop on over to the Reverse Confetti blog to check awesome inspiration from the rest of the Design Team.

DIY Easy Thumbprint Cards

Hello, everyone! Today I am sharing something different, something fun, something that does not need any fancy craft supplies.
I'm sharing a couple of thumbprint cards, these are super quick and easy to make. They are a fun activity to do with your child. They are best made by little fingers, but since my little person was at school I landed up doing this on my own, and I had so much fun!!!

Here's what you need to make these:

  • White cardstock or chart paper
  • Sketch markers
  • Inkpads in 2-3 colors, acrylic paint will also do.
The steps are self-explanatory.
Begin by drawing 2 straight lines with a green marker.
Ink up the tip of one of your fingers with a color of your choice and stamp twice at the top of the green line.
Continue stamping on the 2 sides of the green stem ensuring that you ink up after stamping each time.
You can begin with the tip of your fingers and move on to stamping with more finger area for bigger petal sizes.
Stamp as many flower stems as you want.
You can finish it off with a bumble bee. Stamp in yellow with your thumb and add details with a black marker.
To finish the card, trim the white cardstock panel to fit your cardstock base. To create a blue cardstock base, I used the same blue ink and rubbed it along the edges of the white card stock base and stuck the stamped panel with double sided foam tape.

Here's another easy floral thumbprint card idea. I think you got the idea, the steps are self-explanatory.
I followed the same process as the first one to finish the card. You can also add a sentiment if you like.
Thanks for stopping by today, I hope you enjoyed this tutorial. The possibilities are endless!

Reverse Confetti September Blog Hop!

Today is the day!  It is the Reverse Confetti September Release Blog Hop!  That means all the new release products are now available in the shop!

You should have arrived here from the awesome Susan Liles's blog!  If not, you'll want to start at the beginning of the hop which is the Reverse Confetti blog!
My first project for the day features a couple of cute monsters from the "Monsterous" Set and also the Wonky Stripe Panel Die and the Haunt it stamp set all from the new September release.
The fun patterned paper background is from the "Every Little Bit" paper pad also from this month's release. I added some googly eyes to make the monsters look goofier.

My second project is a cute transparent candy box from this release which I embellished with some gingham ribbon, and some other knick knacks. The sentiment is from the Christmas Bear set which I have stamped on one of the tags from the Tag Duo set.
